We are looking for partners

On July 17-20, 2025, the European U23 Athletics Championships will be held at Fana Stadium in Bergen. This is the second international individual track and field championship in Norway since the European Championships at Bislett in 1946 and the second largest international championship in any sport ever held in Bergen. Of course, the Cycling World Championships brought together more nations, but the two championships have the same number of participants.

A little about the championship

The Norwegian Athletics Federation is now well underway with planning next year’s U23 European Championships in Bergen.

The championship will be a great inspiration for our young athletes. 1,200 participants from 40 nations will compete for precious metal at Fana Stadium. The championship is the first international individual athletics championship in Norway in 80 years.

600 volunteers will be involved in the planning and competition days. 30,000 volunteer hours are put in by involved sports teams and clubs from across the region.

Norway and sport are unique in terms of volunteering and commitment. The championship in 2025 would not have been possible without the enormous effort put in by volunteers. With the Bergen Alliance in the lead, as many as 600 volunteers will be recruited before the championship starts in July 2025.

Support from good partners and suppliers is crucial to creating a championship that Bergen and Norway can be proud of. If your company would like to join us on this journey, we would like to present our championship to you. Contact us HERE to arrange a non-binding presentation!

Sponsor packages

Our sponsorship packages are put together based on the rights the European Athletics Federation has given us as an organizer. In addition, NRK will broadcast live from the championship every day. Viewing figures from athletics shown on Norwegian TV in recent years show a large and growing interest. This means a lot for the visibility of our sponsors and the profiling opportunities that are linked to the TV broadcast.
In addition, we are committed to adapting activities to each individual sponsor. Different industries, different products and services require us to work together to develop activities that are best for the individual partner.
